OverviewBlue Biofuels is a Florida-based renewable-fuels technology company that finalized the development of its patented Cellulose-to-Sugar process for the production of cellulosic ethanol from plant-based biomass. Additionally, through VertiBlue Fuels, its 50/50 joint venture with Vertimass, the Company also plans to produce Sustainable Aviation Fuel, renewable gasoline, and other renewable hydrocarbon fuels from the cellulosic ethanol produced by Blue Biofuels. The Company has advanced its technology through pilot development, Department of Energy-supported scale-up, and additional optimization, and is now working toward demonstration, engineering, project financing, and commercial construction.
